Ivoclar Vivadent reports continued growth in 2014

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced its financial results for the 2014 business year, during which it generated a revenue total of 761 million Swiss francs (505.38 million pounds).

This represented a 4.4 percent year-on-year increase in local currency terms and a two percent growth rate in Swiss francs, with improved performances achieved in both Europe and North America in the face of challenging market conditions.

Emerging market results were also encouraging, with efforts made to expand the company's global presence yielding results. Moreover, the firm was able to create 166 new jobs in 2014, bringing the size of its worldwide workforce to more than 3,200.

Although 2015 is expected to be challenging once again due to unfavourable currency fluctuations, Ivoclar Vivadent remains committed to customer support and company growth.

Robert Ganley, chief executive officer of Ivoclar Vivadent, said: "We will continue to develop new innovative products that provide the necessary productivity, performance and esthetics to meet the digital and clinical needs of dentists, technicians and patients worldwide."

This week, the company is attending the International Dental Show, which is taking place in Cologne until March 15th.
