Ivoclar Vivadent to hold European dental expert symposium

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced plans to hold an international expert symposium for the dental profession in Berlin in September 2012.

The event will be entitled All-Ceramics meets Implant Aesthetics and will be held at the German capital's Kosmos congress centre on September 15th, with dentists and dental technicians invited to attend.

A line-up of 14 international speakers from the research and practice fields have been invited to discuss the latest trends in all-ceramics and implant prosthetics, including Professor Nitzan Bichacho, Dr Urs Brodbeck, August Bruguera and Dr Christian Coachman.

Topics will include current application options for all-ceramic systems, treatment planning in the field of implant prosthetics, abutment design and communication between dental team members.

The company said: "The venue will provide an excellent setting for the participants to interact with colleagues and experts."

Last year, Ivoclar Vivadent generated international sales of 633 million Swiss francs (423.23 million pounds), up by nine percent year on year in constant currency terms.
