Ivoclar Vivadent to showcase new products at IDS 2011

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced plans to unveil a range of new product offerings at the forthcoming International Dental Show (IDS) 2011 event.

During the conference, the firm will demonstrate a number of advances in the field of all-ceramics, including the IPS e.max CAD-on technique for creating bridge restorations, as well introducing a new cleaning paste and press furnace technology.

In the area of implant prosthetics, the company will unveil a selection of new cementation options, alloys and other products for removable and fixed dentures.

Meanwhile, new Ivoclar Vivadent offerings for the direct restoration market include an extensively redesigned version of its light-curing, universal nano-hybrid composite Tetric EvoCeram.

These new innovations will be shown to visitors at IDS 2011 when the symposium takes place in Cologne between March 22nd and 26th this year.

Last month, Jochen Bohner stepped into the role of chief financial officer for Ivoclar Vivadent, taking over from the retiring Dr Erich Viertler.
