Ivoclar Vivadent wins endorsement from Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill

Ivoclar Vivadent has earned a top recommendation from dental test institute The Dental Advisor for its posterior filling composite Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill.

The product was awarded a maximum score of five out of five following an evaluation by the organisation, which also selected the composite for an editor's choice accolade.

After being used by 31 consultants to place a total of 746 restorations, the resin received a clinical rating of 97 percent, earning praise for its handling properties, treatment time reductions, adaptability and aesthetic qualities.

Of those evaluating the product, 93 percent said Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill is just as good or better than the bulk filling product that they currently use.

Meanwhile, 94 percent said they would recommend the composite and 80 percent would be keen to switch to using the product from their current choice.

This comes after the firm made the flowable composite product Tetric EvoFlow available for use with the Luer-Lock syringe last month.
