Ivoclar Vivadent’s Cervitec F earns expert recommendations

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the findings of a professional survey that demonstrates the positive reception granted to its new protective varnish Cervitec F.

A total of 279 questionnaire responses were received, showing that Cervitec F is generally well-liked, with more than 80 per cent of participants saying they were generally satisfied or very satisfied with the properties of the varnish system.

Around 80 percent said they would recommend Cervitec F after using it in professional tooth cleaning, while more than half would recommend using it during the orthodontic treatment of high-risk patients or those with motor impairments.

The experts also praised the usefulness of the varnish in individuals with root caries, implants or erupting teeth, and as a general caries prevention measure, with the time-saving properties of the varnish often cited as a significant advantage.

The manufacturer said the survey participants "were pleased with the esthetics of Cervitec F, as well as with its wide range of applications, delivery form, fluoride and chlorhexidine concentration and its taste".
