J&J MedTech Unveils Collaboration with NVIDIA to Expedite AI in Surgical Procedures

Johnson & Johnson MedTech has unveiled its collaboration with NVIDIA to expedite and expand the application of AI in surgical procedures.  

This collaboration aims to facilitate enhanced access to the worldwide availability of AI algorithms for surgical decision-making and training.  

The partnership between the two entities is set to hasten the integration of AI into Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s array of surgical technologies using NVIDIA’s AI healthcare portfolio.  

The deputy chief of Johnson & Johnson, Tim Schmid, stated, “Johnson & Johnson MedTech is advancing healthcare toward a future that’s more connected and personalised.”  

Schmid went on to add, “This future will be increasingly enabled by digital technologies that deliver efficiency, inform decision-making, and extend surgical training and education.”
