Johnson & Johnson has revealed that its COVID-19 vaccine generated robust activity against the Delta variant

Johnson and Johnson has revealed optimistic results showing that its COVID-19 vaccine generated persistent as well as robust activity against the Delta variant.

An examination from blood samples taken from a collection of participants in Johnson and Johnson’s Phase III ENSEMBLE COVID-19 vaccine study can be found within a pre-print paper submitted to bioRxiv.

Johnson and Johnson’s single-dose vaccine formed counteracting antibody activity against the Delta variant at an advanced level than it had formerly been shown, according to the new data, to elicit against the Beta variant.

Data submitted, from a sub-study Johnson and Johnson’s Phase I/IIa COVID-19 vaccine study to bioRxiv, showed that cellular and humoral immune responses caused by the jab lasted for at least eight months. Furthermore, Johnson and Johnson proclaimed that a single dose of its COVID-19 vaccine produced neutralising antibodies against a range of SARS-CoV-2 variants of concerns, with these levels developing over time.

With each new data set, we build on our solid foundation of evidence that our single-shot COVID-19 vaccine plays a critical role in ending the pandemic, which continues to evolve and pose new challenges to global health.”
