Jurox to host CPD events addressing veterinary anaesthesia practice
Jurox has announced a new series of continuing professional development (CPD) events over the coming weeks addressing key topics concerning anaesthesia in veterinary practice.
Entitled Fearless Feline and Confident Canine Anaesthesia, each meeting will be split into two hour-long sessions, with a three-course meal served throughout the evening. The first session will cover anaesthesia in geriatric cats, followed by an interactive, case-based session highlighting best practice anaesthesia for canines.
The CPD series will kick off with a meeting in Solihull on September 20th, followed by dates in Wigan on the 22nd, Oakham on the 28th and Hamilton on the 29th. Further meetings in Reading on October 4th and Bath on October 6th round out the programme.
Each meeting will be hosted by Jurox's team of field-based veterinary surgeons, all of whom are trained veterinary anaesthesia diplomats, as well as being members of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists.
The main content of the meetings, meanwhile, will be delivered by Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons specialists and European diploma holders in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia.
Tickets will cost 35 pounds, with 30 subsidised places also available for 20 pounds on a first-come, first-served basis.
