Just Health appoints new managing director

Just Health Communications has announced the appointment of Kirsty Mearns as its new managing director and leader of its senior management team.

Ms Mearns joins the agency from InVentiv Health's medical education house Litmus, where she was a member of the leadership team.

She will lead a five-strong group of directors at Just Health and will also head up its medical education division, which currently accounts for around 20 percent of the company's business.

In her new role, she will be supported closely by Jo Hewitt, while the recent hire of Catherine Barnett as a director with a focus on global stakeholder engagement will also enhance the agency's capabilities.

Ms Mearns said: "With the strength of the senior management team we are well positioned to build on the successes of 2013 and expand across all segments of the business."

This new appointment follows on from the addition of Tom Witney, Guy Houghton, Becky Darke and Catherine Castledine to the team in November 2013.
