Just Health PR to conduct UK PR for Sanofi-aventis

Just Health PR has won a contract with Sanofi-aventis which will see it conducting public relations work for the firm's oncology portfolio.

The pharmaceutical company has picked Just Health PR and Hanover Communications to respectively handle the PR and public affairs work for its cancer drugs, reports PRWeek.

Just Health's Laura Chambers will lead the new Sanofi-aventis account, while the deal has also prompted the firm to hire former Alzheimer's Society press officer Helen Laurence as a senior consultant.

The brief will see Just Health and Hanover assist the pharma firm in launching two new products, a second-line castrate refractory prostate cancer treatment and a metastatic triple-negative breast cancer therapy.

It pertains to Sanofi-aventis' existing oncology franchise as well as future developments.

This month, PRWeek reported that Just Health PR is also launching a pro-bono initiative which offers UK charities the opportunity to apply for free PR and communications support worth 150,000 pounds.
