Keeler announces sales and marketing director appointment

Keeler has announced the appointment of Peter Healey as its new sales and marketing director, a move expected to bring new expertise to the company.

Mr Healey is a former global marketing director for Procter and Gamble and most recently served as UK general manager and head of international and European sales at Warner Chilcott.

Keeler managing director Abbas Sotoudeh expressed confidence that his skills and industry experience will support the medical technology firm's future expansion plans.

Meanwhile, Mr Healey stated that his aim is to deliver double-digit growth for the five years leading up to 2017, when the company celebrates its 100th anniversary.

"I am very excited to join a company that has UK manufacturing, such an excellent brand name, opportunity for growth and one that's part of a strong parent group in Halma," he added.

Keeler was founded in 1917 and specialises in the development of high-quality precision ophthalmic instruments, with its factory premises located near to the centre of Windsor.
