Keeler appoints sales and marketing head

Keeler has announced the appointment of Keith Watson as its new sales and marketing director.

Mr Watson joins the organisation after filling an identical role at Hanovia – a Keeler sister company also owned by the Halma group – where he was responsible for implementing major organisational changes.

During his time with Hanovia, he was able to drive a 35 percent increase in sales revenues, while other previous employers include Arun Technology and Spectro Analytical.

Mr Watson expressed excitement at the opportunity to join a company with the global brand presences and strong healthcare background that Keeler offers.

He added: "Keeler has performed exceptionally in recent years and I look forward to continuing and improving the growth strategies that have contributed to this success."

This comes after the company made a donation of ophthalmoscopes and retinoscopes to the not-for-profit organisation Vision Care for Homeless People earlier this month, for use in its London charity clinic.
