Kelso Purchases Velit Biopharma to Continue Growth Across Europe

Located in the UK, Kelso Pharma is a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company that has recently purchased Velit. Velit currently collaborates with companies across regions of the world, offering a range of over 50 medicinal products.

Situated in Italy, Velit produces over 167 therapeutics, with 15 more to follow in the near future. Their expertise lies in medicines that are challenging to produce; these are then supplied to patients across Europe.

Kelso strives to produce drug treatments that are reasonably priced and high quality. The company has been working on increasing brand awareness by purchasing and collaborating with other companies within the industry.

“We plan to build on the strong partnerships that Velit has already formed to create further international success as we build a truly pan-European specialty pharma business” Commented the executive of Kelso, Dr Tom Stratford.

“Velit’s products, existing and under development, will strengthen Kelso’s portfolio in its target markets while Kelso can provide additional support for Velit’s impressive list of partnerships.” Added the primary investor in Kelso, Sam Gray.
