Kimberly-Clark’s procurement officer hailed for excellence
Kimberly-Clark's global procurement officer Cynthia Dautrich has won recognition from the industry publication Supply and Demand Chain Executive.
The magazine has included the purchasing manager in its 12th annual listing of "Pros to Know" in the supply chain industry, thanks to her efforts in preparing the company's procurement practices for the year ahead.
Offering more than 20 years of experience, Ms Dautrich is responsible for managing billions of dollars worth of spend across the world and specialises in setting up global procurement operations in decentralised, matrix-style organisations.
She and the other professionals included on the list were held up as examples of how supply chain staff can provide competitive advantages to their employers.
Ms Dautrich said: "This achievement recognises Kimberly-Clark's commitment to leveraging the full strength of its global buying power across all areas of the company to generate sustainable value creation."
This comes after the firm reported a six percent year-on-year increase in sales for 2011.
