Kodak signs co-marketing agreement with MedLink
Kodak has announced that it has signed a co-marketing agreement with MedLink International, with both firms consequently consenting to promote the information, medical imaging and software products of the other in the US.
MedLink International is a publicly held firm that supplies its electronic health record (EHR) software through a virtual private network (VPN) to a number of clinicians in medical offices.
“Kodak will refer its diagnostic imaging centre customers interested in acquiring MedLink’s VPN and EHR solution to MedLink International,” the company reports
It adds that MedLink will refer its clients interesting in Kodak’s Carestream radiology information system (Ris) and picture archiving and communications system (Pacs) for customers interested in purchasing a complete integrated suite or individual products, in addition to those looking for related professional services.
The Ris/Pacs suite offers clients comprehensive patient image and information management from order requests while being customisable, in addition to enabling the distribution of patient records to authorised members of a healthcare network.
Last month, Kodak announced that it had signed a three-year contract with Novation effective from the start of May 2007 to facilitate the use of its Carestream Pacs system to almost 2,500 members of Novation’s alliance and facilities.
