Lab M to relocate to new global base in UK

Lab M will this month make the move into new global headquarters located at Quest Park in Heywood, Lancashire.

The new headquarters will house all of the company's research and development, manufacturing, technical support and commercial operations and is located within easy reach of major national and international communications hubs.

Lab M chose to purchase rather than lease the new premises – with future expansion possibilities in mind – while it has also been able to tailor the design of the site to meet its specific needs.

This move represents the most significant investment in the microbiology company's history and marks the beginning of a new phase of its expansion and development efforts.

Ian Morris, Lab M's managing director, said: "The new building offers the easy access, practical space and enhanced services that are wholly appropriate for an expanding company that focuses heavily on its customer relationships."

Mr Morris joined the firm in January 2012 with the aim of driving growth for the organisation.
