Laborie highlights success of injeTAK cystoscopic injection needle

Laborie has shone a spotlight on the positive reaction its injeTAK cystoscopic injection needle has received from medical professionals to date.

The firm states that it has seen "tremendous growth" in usage of the innovative device since its introduction thanks to the unique features it offers, as well as its affordable price.

It is the first injection needle to offer unique depth control and functionality, with its design allowing physicians to inject rapidly with consistent depth to multiple points within the bladder.

Injections using the needle are safer and more comfortable than many comparable products, while its zero-millimetre setting protects the cystoscope when inserted or withdrawn.

The manufacturer added: "The laser-cut multisided needle guarantees precision puncture with minimal tissue damage, while the ergonomic design allows for easy adjustment and single-handed operation."

Earlier this year, Laborie announced that it will be maintaining its distribution arrangement for the BRS Bulbocavernosus Reflex System in North and South America.
