Langland named agency of the year at Cannes Lions Health awards

19th August 2015

Langland has been named agency of the year at the 2015 Cannes Lions Health awards, reinforcing its position as one of the world's most creatively awarded healthcare agencies.

The firm retained the accolade it won last year, while claiming five Bronze Lions from 19 nominations. It won three prizes for work it did with pharmaceutical client Otsuka, as well as two awards for its efforts on the Randox Sniffers campaign.

It was able to achieve this success despite a competitive field, with this year's total of 1,862 entries representing a 30 percent increase over 2014's inaugural show. Of these, 432 came in the pharma category, while 1,430 were in the health and wellness bracket.

Philip Chin, Langland's chief executive, said: "I'd like to congratulate our clients, suppliers and the whole Langland team for the effort they've put in to achieve this fantastic result."

The agency also recently announced that its Sniffers campaign for Randox has won a prize at the 19th annual Webby Awards, beating more than 13,000 entries from over 60 countries.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801798072-ADNFCR
