Langland receives Webby Award recognition for Idis campaign
Langland has announced that its recent integrated campaign, I Did This With Idis, has been chosen as an honoree at the 2014 Webby Awards.
The campaign, which highlighted stories from across the globe centred on people who have benefited from the use of Idis Pharma products, became an honoree in the best use of video or moving image category, as well as in the health, wellness and pharmaceutical division.
It beat out 12,000 entries from over 60 countries at the prestigious event, which took place for the 18th time this year. Established in 1996, the Webby Awards are designed to honour excellence in websites, interactive advertising and media, online film and video, mobile applications and the social web.
Langland deputy creative director Matt Turrell said: "It's a fantastic achievement and an indication of the power of storytelling. I think it's an approach we'll see more and more in the future."
Last month, the agency expanded its creative capabilities with the appointment of Alison Ferrucci, Kate Spencer, Andrew Spurgeon and Adrian Zambardino to important new roles within its organisation.
