Leica Microsystems UK offers ‘perfect imaging solution’ for scientific research

Leica Microsystems has introduced "an enhanced imaging solution" for biological and materials sciences.

The latest digital microscopes from the firm are said to quickly and easily capture "excellent images" and achievable reliable research results.

According to the company, "the Leica DM4000 B through DM6000 B series for biological sciences, and the Leica DM4000 M and Leica DM6000 M Digital Microscopes for material sciences and industrial quality analysis streamline important work processes."

Adding that "the image brilliance and operational speed of the integrated imaging system are unparalleled in this class of microscope", Leica pointed out that its Intelligent Automation is made possible with "the most sophisticated control electronics" to ensure reproducible, reliable results.

New components such as the external Leica STP6000 SmartTouch Panel have been confirmed to give researchers "a new level of convenient microscope control".

As well as their ability to be operated by remote control and controlled on a PC, users can set automated functions on Leica’s digital microscopes so that different user profiles can be saved and recalled "at the touch of a button".

Shortly after the launch of its new M165 C and M205 C stereomicroscopes recently, Leica Microsystems announced its plans to sell products for the former Vision Biosystems.
