Leo Pharma appoints new management staff

Leo Pharma has appointed Kim Kjoller and Tore Duvold as new members of its group management team.

Mr Duvold has been selected as senior vice-president for new product discovery, while Mr Kjoller joins the organisation in the role of senior vice-president for global development.

The appointments coincide with the departure of senior vice-president for research and development Anders Akerlund and will support Leo Pharma's new objective of increasing its focus on skin disease treatments.

Gitte Aabo, president and chief executive officer at Leo Pharma, said the new staff members' proven competencies will help to improve collaboration across the group.

"In our new mission, the patient is in the centre. It is therefore crucial to our continued success that we gain deeper understanding of the patient's needs," he said.

Last month, it was announced that the firm is to utilise a new regulatory affairs management system developed by Aris Global in order to bolster efficiency.
