Lexington Communications appoints trio of advisers for healthcare practice

Lexington Communications has announced the appointment of three new strategic advisors to act as senior counsel to its healthcare team.

Professor Mike Bewick, former deputy medical director of NHS England, will provide guidance for the agency's health specialist team, alongside former Patients' Association chief executive officer Katherine Murphy.

Also appointed as an advisor was Mike Burrows, the coordination director of the National Academic Health Science Network and a former NHS England area director for Greater Manchester.

These new advisors have been appointed by Emily Cook, Lexington's new director and head of health, who took over the running of the healthcare practice following the departure of previous head Joanne Bullen.

Ms Cook said: "With their added expertise and insight, we look forward to expanding our offering and continuing to provide our clients with the very best advice and insight in healthcare consultancy."

Additionally, Ed McRandal has joined as an associate director, with Will Culliford named as a senior consultant. They will operate out of the healthcare team's offices in London and Manchester.
