Liberty Communications appointed to raise UK profile of Donky
Liberty Communications has been appointed by mobile engagement platform Donky to help raise its profile in the UK.
The leading technology PR firm won a three-way pitch and has been hired on an ongoing retainer. The firm will be responsible for media and analyst relations, content creation and even management.
Donky enables small businesses to connect, identify and interact with its customers through apps, online channels and other web-enabled devices. It describes it[s] service as allowing clients to create "social cohesion" with their audience by letting them start conversations.
Lyndsey Treharne, marketing and product director at the firm, said: "We spoke to a number of agencies during the pitch process but Liberty really stood out with its clear understanding of what Donky was all about, our objectives and how we wanted to get there."
She added that Donky needed an agency that could run strategic and precise PR campaigns and the firm felt that Liberty fitted that brief.
Dee Gibbs, founder and global chief executive at Liberty, said that her company's wealth of experience in mobile technology and background of reaching core vertical markets means that it is ideally suited to offer the support Donky needs, and act as a trusted partner.
