Liberty Communications appoints first US managing director

Liberty Communications has announced the appointment of Jim Lubinskas as the new managing director of its six-strong US business.

Mr Lubinskas becomes the UK-based tech PR agency's first dedicated US managing director, taking responsibility for leading its offices in New York and San Francisco. The agency established its US operations in 2015.

A veteran PR professional with nearly 20 years of experience, Mr Lubinskas has previously held senior positions at Spire Communications, Mach Media and W2 Communications, representing clients such as Cisco, Digex, MicroStrategy and Software AG.

He will be based in San Francisco and tasked with overseeing the agency's client services across the US, while driving new business development efforts.
