Liberty Communications names business and enterprise technology head

Liberty Communications has announced the appointment of Alexis Dalrymple as its new head of business and enterprise technology.

Mr Dalrymple joins the agency from GolinHarris, where he served in the role of head of technology, while previous employers include leading agencies such as Dynamo and Hotwire, reports PRWeek.

He brings experience of working with technology sector clients such as Everything Everywhere, Nokia and Research in Motion, with his appointment set to support Liberty's ambitious growth plans.

Liberty Communications managing director and founder Dee Gibbs said: "His knowledge of the industry means we can offer our clients a real value-added approach and his support on existing clients thus far has already borne significant results."

This follows the recent hiring of Nick Lane as head of telecoms and media, Peter Hay as head of digital and Matt Wood as creative planner.

Liberty Communications was founded in 1998 and has focused on the telecoms and media industries, but is currently actively recruiting new staff as it seeks to adopt a wider technology sector focus.
