Life Healthcare Communications appoints digital director

Life Healthcare Communications has announced the appointment of digital marketing expert Francesco Raimo as its new digital director.

Mr Raimo will aid the agency in bolstering its efforts to expand its digital capabilities by taking charge of its team of designers, developers and programmers, helping them to produce client websites, mobile apps and more.

He brings more than 13 years of multi-industry digital experience to the company, including four years in the healthcare sector, having most recently served as digital director at Adventis Health.

During his time with Adventis, he helped to deliver successful projects such as the haematologist community portal Haemnet.com and Allergan's launch campaign for Ozurdex.

Mr Raimo has also worked with major pharmaceutical clients such as Pfizer, Roche and Schering-Plough during his career.

Life Healthcare Communications is based in Windsor and aims to bring consumer advertising ideals to healthcare communications, working with companies including Abbott, Baxter, Alcon and Teva.
