Lomb names new corporate vice president
Bausch & Lomb has appointed Flemming Ornskov as its newest vice president for corporate activities, it has been announced.
The eye health specialist with operations worldwide is convinced that Dr Ornskov’s considerable experience in various leadership roles at pharmaceutical corporations will stand him in good stead for his new role.
Having until recently been acting as the chief executive of the LifeCycle Pharma company, he has now become president of pharmaceuticals worldwide for Bausch & Lomb.
Chairman and chief executive of the company Gerald M Ostrov said: “Dr Ornskov’s expertise in specialty and ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, plus his broad global experience developing pharmaceuticals from early stage discovery to market introduction, will help further accelerate Bausch & Lomb’s goal to create long-term value.”
