Lucid appoints two new members of senior leadership team

Lucid has announced the appointment of two new members of its growing senior leadership team.

Shula Sarner has been appointed as executive scientific director, a role that will leverage her extensive experience of working in communications, academia and the biotech industry.

She worked as the director of scientific services at a large independent medical communications agency in the US, leading scientific strategy and business development across teams, before returning to the UK in 2015.

Meanwhile, Tanya Goodyear has been hired as the agency's new division director for immunology, bringing more than 16 years of experience in healthcare communications and medical education to the position.

She has led the strategic development and management of international and domestic-based medical comms programmes during her career, most recently serving as director of commercial strategy at inVentiv Medical Communications.

Ms Goodyear said: "Lucid immediately felt like the perfect team for me – the passion, innovation and creativity running through everything Lucid does translates into world-leading medical education programmes that really do change behaviour."
