M3 appoints former Google head as communications chief

M3 has today (March 24th) announced the appointment of Jenny Cowderoy as its new managing director of communications in Europe.

The former Google head of healthcare has been briefed to lead the launch of M3 in Europe, as well as supporting the company's plans for growth.

In her former role, Ms Cowderoy was responsible for the search giant's thought leadership, business strategy and sales growth. She managed a portfolio of healthcare clients including GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Novartis and Boots.

Ms Cowderoy previously held the position of director of global marketing as GSK, advising the pharmaceutical giant's executive and global marketing teams.

M3 Europe chief executive Dr Tim Ringrose said: "We are delighted to welcome Jenny to M3. She is a highly experienced and influential marketer, who has helped a wealth of multi-national healthcare companies to drive innovation and growth across their businesses through digital communication."
