Manifest hired by Macmillan to promote World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

11th August 2016

Manifest has been hired by the charity group Macmillan Cancer Support to help promote the upcoming World's Biggest Coffee Morning event in September.

The agency and its content division O will be donating resources to the three-month project as part of its annual charitable contribution. The focus of the work will be the creation and execution of a PR stunt to raise awareness of the event, reports Gorkana.

Launched in 1990, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser has helped to generate more than 165 million pounds in contributions over the years.

Macmillan Cancer Support selected Manifest for this brief after it proposed a number of creative, strategic PR concepts for the campaign.

Alex Myers, founder and chief executive officer of Manifest, said: "The charity does fantastic work supporting people affected by cancer and to be involved in the planning of a creative national PR stunt that helps raise vital funds is an honour for all of us."

The agency has experience in delivering pro bono campaigns for organisations such as CALM, the Ministry of Stories, ENZI and Excellent Development.
