Martindale Pharma and Fannin agree Irish distribution deal
Martindale Pharma and Fannin have agreed a new multi-year distribution and commercialisation deal in Ireland.
Under the terms of the agreement, Fannin handle Irish distribution and commercialisation of Martindale Pharma's products within the emergency care, hospital-initiated medicines and opioid addiction categories.
These include methadone and selected emergency care sterile ampoule products, as well as the Noyada, Teglutik and Prenoxad brands.
This builds on the long-term relationship between the two companies in Ireland, which helped Martindale Pharma to gain significant market share in the territory by leveraging Fannin's commercial expertise.
Michael Harris, chief executive officer of Martindale Pharma, said: "Fannin has been a very strong partner for us and this new deal provides the opportunity to launch new products into Ireland to the benefit of Irish patients."
This comes after the firm agreed a new commercial agreement with Faisal Musaed El Seif Saudi Pharmaceutical – one of the leading healthcare distributors in Saudi Arabia – earlier this month.
