Mast launches Assure bacterial agglutinating antisera
Mast has announced the launch of its new Assure range of bacterial agglutinating antisera, for use in bacterial identification processes.
These polyvalent and monovalent diagnostic antisera are designed for the antigenic analysis of clinically significant bacteria, such as Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, Vibrio cholerae, Escherichia coli and many others.
All antisera are derived from immunised rabbits and have been adsorbed to remove cross agglutinins, as well as being filter-sterilised. Presented in two ml dropper bottles, Mast has designed these antisera products to be user-friendly and ensure minimal laboratory wastage.
The company said: "The Mast Assure product range promises high-quality performance, simple slide and test tube agglutination methods, and easy-to-read results."
This comes after Mast also recently announced the launch of Mast Toxoreagent, a new CE Mark-approved indirect latex agglutination test for the detection of Toxoplasma antibodies that provides clear agglutination pattern to indicate positive results after 12 hours.
