Mast presents its latest MRSA kit

Mast has produced the latest in a range of GenoQuick MRSA kits.

It claims that the kit from Hain Life Sciences offers rapid, highly cost-effective results directly from patient specimens in two and a half hours.

A company statement said that the kit utilises MRSA specific DNA sequences without the need for time-consuming culture, minimises hands-on time and is hugely scaleable from one to thousands of tests per day.

"[We are] pleased to present a new version of the innovative GenoQuick MRSA kit from Hain LifeSciences," it continued.

"The test can easily be incorporated into a routine diagnostic laboratory."

Mast claims to be an independent world-class manufacturer and supplier of clinical and industrial laboratory diagnostic products and services.

The firm has also invited customers, distributors and other interested parties to visit Booth 335 at ECCMID in Barcelona which runs from April 19th to 22nd.

Among the highlights of the exhibition will be the European launch of the firm’s new DiscMaster 2 disc dispenser.
