Mast showcases latest offerings at BSAC event in London
Mast has shared the latest insights and new offerings from its product pipeline at an event organised by the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC) in London.
The BSAC Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Method User Day took place at the Holiday Inn in London on July 8th 2014, with Mast acting as the sole sponsor for the event.
Though the main aim of the one-day symposium was to provide relevant updates and modifications to the BSAC Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) Method, it also gave the company an opportunity to present an extensive range of its products.
Among them were the Mastdiscs AST and Mastdiscs Combi offerings, for use in the simple and cost-effective determination of organism susceptibility and resistance, as well as the microvial cryopreservation system Mastcryobank.
As such, the event provided Mast with an ideal venue for discussing the unique capabilities of its various products to microbiologists.
This follows the recent launch of the company's Mast Isoplex VTEC device last month, a scientifically-proven product for use in the detection of E. coli strains.
