Mast to attend Welsh Microbiological Association meeting
Mast has confirmed its attendance at the Welsh Microbiological Association (WMA) meeting in Swansea later this week.
The life science company will travel to the event on June 15th and 16th 2012 to showcase a range of products and services, with its recently launched Mast Uri system to be the main focus.
In addition to the semi-automated microbiological urine specimen analysis system, the firm will offer demonstrations of key items from its portfolio, including its ESBL and AmpC detection discs for the identification and confirmation of multi-resistant organisms.
These product showcases will take place alongside a series of lectures on various relevant topics, including recent microbiology advances and HIV and associated infections.
To be held at the Village Hotel, the WMA conference is expected to be attended by leading medical microbiologists and scientists.
Last month, Mast attended the British Society for Microbial Technology's annual scientific meeting in London, during which its Mast Uri system met with great interest from visitors.
