Mc&T wins UK PR brief for hi-fi brand Bowers and Wilkins
Mc&T has won a new brief with British hi-fi brand Bowers and Wilkins following the agency's first competitive pitch.
The UK PR brief will see the agency tasked with handling the client's forthcoming product launches, as well as its global festival activations and automotive partnerships. It will also handle the comms for the brand's 50th anniversary next year.
Mc&T was appointed following a competitive pitch with two other agencies. The client was hired after demonstrating its creative thinking and understanding of the business, plus its approach to thinking beyond typical media relations approaches, reports Gorkana.
Paul McEntee, the agency's founder, said: "Bowers and Wilkins is at the pinnacle of its industry, a true British heritage brand and success story. We are looking forward to continuing to tell that story in new and interesting ways."
Mr McEntee was consumer brands director at Edelman before founding Mc&T earlier this year. He left Edelman last September after spending eight years with the agency.
Other Mc&T clients include music hardware brand Moog and restaurants Beagle and The Last Tuesday Society.
