Merck expands science funding partnership with Seeding Labs

Merck's science funding partnership with Seeding Labs is to be expanded, in order to increase its capacity for teaching and research among scientists in the developing world.  
 
Seeding Labs' new TeleScience online platform will be exclusively sponsored by Merck's life sciences business sector. It will enable Seeding Labs to expand the reach of its Instrumental Access programme, which provides lab equipment, training and collaboration opportunities all over the world, with a particular focus on providing these facilities where they are lacking in developing countries. 

As well as online resources, a range of training videos will be made available to scientists across the globe. 

Commenting on the benefits of the service, chief executive for Life Science at Merck Udit Batra said: "Through our expanded partnership with Seeding Labs, we are able to provide our expertise and connect the global scientific community to resources it wouldn’t otherwise have, driving innovation and accelerating access to health for people everywhere."
