Merck Sharp and Dohme to present Keytruda data at ASCO 2016

18th May 2016

Merck Sharp and Dohme has announced that it will be sharing its newest Keytruda research insights at this year's annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

The company will attend the symposium in Chicago from June 3rd to 7th, where it will present new and updated data investigating Keytruda, its anti-PD-1 therapy, in more than 15 types of cancer.

Findings from clinical studies will highlight the benefits of using Keytruda as a single agent and in combination with other therapies in melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer, as well as bladder, colorectal, oesophageal, head and neck, gastric and renal cancers, plus lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

First-time presentation of findings for Keytruda will be also presented in new tumour types such as cervical, endometrial, leiomyosarcoma, pancreatic, salivary and thyroid.

Dr Roy Baynes, senior vice-president and head of global clinical development at Merck Research Laboratories, said: "We look forward to sharing new data with the cancer community from our industry-leading immuno-oncology programme as we seek to advance our shared goal of transforming outcomes for patients across a broad range of tumours."

The company also recently announced that it will be attending this year's American Diabetes Association scientific sessions, where it will share its latest diabetes drug research insights.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801818641-ADNFCR
