METTLER TOLEDO introduces new EDPS Adjustable Spacer pipette

METTLER TOLEDO has unveiled a new product which will "conquer new horizons in multichannel pipetting".

According to the company, the EDP3 Adjustable Spacer pipette increases productivity by enabling the use of multi channel pipettes which can change format spacing from 24-well to 96-well in one movement.

Expanding on the regular EDP3 system, METTLER TOLEDO claims that the new product offers increased flexibility by allowing customers to set the distance between channels personally.

It also states that the EDP3 also offers a "precise and lockable" adjustment wheel, "easy to read" spacing marks to ensure accurate settings and an ergonomic design.

METTLER TOLEDO recently launched the E-man Hybrid which it claims is the only pipette to use real-time sensing technology.

The product’s plunger position is continually updated and communicated to the LCD display screen to produce "highly accurate" four digit volume settings.
