Mettler Toledo launches high-speed laboratory software

Mettler Toledo has launched a new software application which is designed to allow laboratory technicians to prepare samples more quickly and efficiently.

The new One Click Standard Preparation is based on the firm’s laboratory software platform LabX and automates the process of calculation and documentation, meaning the user only needs to input a sample ID.

According to Mettler Toledo, the technology reduces the time taken to prepare a standard solution from 15 minutes to four, while all information is saved and printed to ensure details are not omitted.

The firm said: “It offers fast, secure and easy standard and sample preparation with full user guidance on the balance.”

In addition, Mettler Toledo is also offering a One Click Weighing Solutions system for LabX 2010 for use in common laboratory weighing procedures.

Last week, the science company released ReactIR 15, a new reaction analysis and monitoring system which is designed to be compact and user-friendly.
