Mettler-Toledo promotes Tablex-Pro metal detectors

Mettler-Toledo has launched a new range of Tablex-Pro tablet and capsule metal detectors for pharmaceutical manufacturing applications.

The laboratory instrument manufacturer said the products are designed to increase productivity and offer users "maximum flexibility" with low-profile, fully rotating castors and an ergonomic design.

Other features include a full-colour touchscreen interface with an icon-driven menu and the auto-capture of electronic signatures and other data for regulatory compliance.

In addition, the metal detectors boast a 'no-tool' system that makes strip-down operations quick and simple.

"Tablex-Pro metal detectors utilise sophisticated software technology to provide the most advanced metal detection systems available," Mettler-Toledo said in a statement.

In September, Mettler-Toledo expanded its product inspection division by adding German company Pharmacontrol Electronic to the group.
