MHP adds four new members to health team

MHP has announced the appointment of four new members to its dedicated healthcare team.

The most prominent of these new hires is the addition of Kate Pogson, formerly of Red Door, as as a director. She can boast more than a decade of experience across the pharmaceutical and healthcare comms sectors.

Ms Pogson's former employers include Ketchum, where she provided specialist PR advice to leading global healthcare companies and patient groups. She also volunteers for two HIV charities.

In addition, the agency has Victoria Parker as a senior account manager, Laura Anstey as an account manager and Sean Parrett as an account executive.

Rachel Rowson, managing director and head of MHP Health, said: "There is an increasing expectation among clients for advisors with a deep understanding of the full communications spectrum."

MHP established its dedicated global healthcare comms practice in 2013, with Ms Rowson occupying her current roles since April last year.
