MHP Communications’ head of health, Kate Pogson wins 2018 Communiqué Awards

Kate Pogson has won the 2018 Healthcare Communications Leader Award. She began her career in the healthcare public relations sector at Ketchum and Red Door Communications, and moved 10 years later into the healthcare policy sector.

The award recognises outstanding leaders working within healthcare communications. Successful candidates have to have made an impact both in their own right and also in the capacity as part of their organisation. The Communiqué judges said Kate is a “visionary” and attributed this comment to the evidence presented within her work creating and leading the London-based firm MHP Communications, which has blossomed under her leadership.

The judging panel said: “Kate is not only a true leader in healthcare communications now, but she is a leader of the future. She had an outstanding intellectual yet humble presence during her presentation. She truly is the whole package.”
