Millipore has launched a new kit to provide the quantitative measure of oxidative stress.
The life science provider claims its OxyELISA oxidised protein quantitation kit offers high throughput detection and improves specificity in a shorter time.
A company statement described the product as "necessary" for quantitative, high-throughput detection of modified proteins in cells undergoing oxidative stress.
"OxyELISA users can count on full technical support from Millipore, complemented by a comprehensive offering of reagents and assays for analyzing oxidative stress. The kit complements Millipore’s more qualitative OxyBLOT assay," it added.
Meanwhile, the firm recently names stem cell researcher Dr Sangeeta Bhatia as the first recipient of its Millpore Seed Grant Fellowship.
Geoffrey Crouse, the company’s vice-president of its life science business unit, said he was impressed with the researcher’s "groundbreaking research".
Her work will advance the stem cell research field by increasing understanding of the mechanisms of stem cell differentiation, he added.
