Molar Media Mount develops a state-of-the-art PPE solution

Molar Media Mount has invented a brand-new product, HoverShield, which provides exceptional protection for dentists adjusting to new PPE guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic. The HoverShield is an acrylic shield that has been designed to shield the dentist, patient and dental staff by mounting onto a dentist’s existing dental light, through a movable arm.

Depending on the procedure, the HoverShield can be adjusted as needed and cleaned with wipes between each patient. HoverShield provides a unique solution in cases where dental staff or dentists can’t stand individual face shields, or where an extra layer of protection is solicited.

Founder of Molar Media Mount, owner of Mill Creek Family Dentistry, Hovershield inventor, Dr Caset Culberson, stated: “This is a very uncertain time we’re living through and going back to the office as if it’s business as usual just isn’t an option. I wanted to create something that would help protect dentists and their staff and their patients and hopefully make reopening a little easier and safer for everyone.”
