Molnlycke to demonstrate new products at EWMA 2014
Molnlycke has confirmed that it will be attending this year's European Wound Management Association (EWMA) congress, which takes place in Madrid next month.
The company will showcase a number of its latest and most important wound care offerings at the event from May 14th to 16th, including its unique and patented Safetac technology and Mepilex Border, which can help reduce pressure ulcer incidence in addition to current therapy protocols.
Attendees will be able to learn how the firm's Mepitel Film can prevent radiotherapy-induced skin reactions and how Mepilex Ag can reduce the cost of burns treatment, while there will also be an in-booth demonstration of Molnlycke's new WoundEL electro stimulation system.
Moreover, as a corporate congress sponsor, Molnlycke will host a symposium on cost-effective wound care, which will evaluate current purchasing trends across Europe and beyond, in both the prevention and treatment of chronic wounds.
The company said: "This year's booth will reflect the proud history of the Molnlycke Health Care range of innovative wound care products, which help minimise pain for the patient and trauma to the wound."
Last week, Richard Twomey took over as the new chief executive officer of the business, succeeding the now-departed Pierre Guyot.
