Molnlycke wins AfPP innovation award

Molnlycke has been presented with an award for its OR Efficiency Partnership Programme by the Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP).

The medical technology firm won the charity organisation's best overall innovation award in recognition of the benefits the programme can deliver in improving patient care quality.

Molnlycke's service solution functions by assisting hospitals in creating time, effort and cost efficiencies using unique tools and methods, allowing more resources and attention to be allocated to addressing patient needs.

At the award ceremony in Harrogate last week, the AfPP judging panel praised the programme for demonstrating a "dedication to quality, efficiency and improving patient safety".

"As a company focusing on delivering value and increased efficiency to our customers, this is of course a great achievement," said Molnlycke.

Last month, the firm published a new study which highlighted the time-saving operational benefits provided to healthcare facilities by its ProcedurePak custom procedure trays.
