MSD Animal Health to discuss poultry respiratory disease control at WVPAC 2015
MSD Animal Health will be a diamond sponsor at the 19th World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress (WVPAC), which takes place in South Africa this month.
The event, which runs from September 7th to 11th in Cape Town, will see the company present data on poultry respiratory disease control issues, with more than ten MSD Animal Health presentations scheduled.
As well as presenting data on new vaccines such as Nobilis Primo QX and the Innovax range, the firm will hold a satellite symposium at the congress focusing on the best ways of controlling the spread of poultry respiratory disease.
Particular attention will be given over to Innovax-ND-ILT, a vector vaccine that will soon to be available for protecting poultry against infectious laryngotracheitis, as well as Newcastle disease and Marek's disease.
William Vaughn, global marketing director at MSD Animal Health, said: "We are pleased to take part in the World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress and provide producers with important information that can help them protect their flocks."
This comes after the firm launched the Convenience Program Evaluation test, an innovative new poultry health field service, last month.
