MSD Animal Health to launch poultry intestinal health webinar

MSD Animal Health has announced the launch of an educational webinar to help poultry producers improve the intestinal health of their animals.

The online seminar will help to improve the performance of their flocks and will teach producers how to utilise the basic principles of gut flora development, manage the lower intestine beyond digestion and rehabilitate intestinal microflora.

Participants will also learn about the tools available to them for reducing harmful microflora that can impair performance. Industry experts including Dr Stephen Collett and MSD Animal Health's Dr Fernando Vargas will contribute to the webinar.

Poultry producers can register for the webinar ahead of time, with the broadcast itself to take place on June 19th 2014.

This comes after the firm held a special symposium on the topic of emerging diseases at the International Pig Veterinary Society Congress earlier this month.
