Murdo Gordon to leave BMS after almost 30 years
Murdo Gordon, Executive VP and CCO of BMS since 2016, has left after 30 years with the company. He graduated from Concordia University, Montreal with a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology in 1989 and joined BMS. He worked in various sales and marketing roles in Canada and then moved to the US in 2003.
Chairman and CEO and chairman of BMS, Giovanni Caforio, said: “On behalf of the company, I want to thank Murdo for his leadership and the important contributions he’s made in his many years with Bristol-Myers Squibb. Murdo helped build a highly performing commercial organization and developed a strong bench of talent, contributing to our competitive position in the market and our success in delivering innovative medicines to patients.”
